1. Applications are invited for the post of Climbing Wall Care Taker cum
Instructor on contractual basis at Nehru Institute of Mountaineering,
Uttarkashi. Candidate must be physically and medically fit to apply for the
post. Eligible candidates may apply on or before 15/04/2014
2. Name of Post: Climbing Wall Care Taker cum Instructor (Male).
3. Salary: Rs. 20,000 consolidated per month.
4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
(a) Age: Should be between 20 years and 35 years of age.
(b) Citizenship: Should be citizen of India (post being on contractual basis).
5. Essential Qualifications:
(a) Should have passed intermediate or equivalent examination from
Uttarakhand / Uttar Pradesh or any recognized education board in
India.
(b) Should have certificate of Basic, Advance and Method of Instruction
course with Grade ’A’ from NIM Uttarkashi, HMI Darjeeling, JIM
Batote, ABBM & AS Manali and NIMAS Arunachal Pradesh.
(c) Should have participation certificate of at least four National level
recognized Wall Climbing Competitions.
(d) Should have certificate of Route Setter/Judge/Organizer from a
recognized organization.
6. Experience Required:
(a) Should have at least 05 years of wall climbing experience.
(b) Should have knowledge of repair and maintenance of International
Climbing Wall.
(c) Should have knowledge of Instructorship.
Note:
(a) Application must be sent by Registered post to “The Principal,
Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, (Uttarakhand), Pin-
249193” on or before 15/04/2014.
(b) Attested copies of the documents in support of requirements
mentioned in para 4(a), 4(b), 5(a), 5(b),5(c), 5(d), 6(a), 6(b) and
6(c) are required to be sent along with the application.
(c) Applicant’s permanent address postal address, e.mail ID and
mobile/ telephone numbers are required to be mentioned in the
